Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective: 1st January 2026 • Compliant with UK Consumer Rights Act 2015

1. 14-Day Statutory Cooling-Off Period

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your course booking within 14 calendar days of payment without giving any reason. If you cancel within this period, you will receive a full 100% refund of fees paid via your original payment method within 5 working days.

2. Cancellations After 14 Days

If you request a cancellation after the 14-day statutory period but more than 7 days prior to your scheduled studio masterclass date, you may transfer your booking to another available date or request a credit voucher valid for 12 months. Cancellations within 7 days of the masterclass start date are non-refundable due to pre-purchased perishable studio ingredients.

3. Course Rescheduling & Transfers

You may transfer your booking to a friend or family member at any time prior to the workshop start date at no extra charge by notifying our admissions team at [email protected].

4. Academy-Initiated Cancellations

In the unlikely event that British Baking Academy Ltd must reschedule or cancel a masterclass due to severe weather, facility maintenance, or chef illness, students will be offered an immediate full refund or priority booking on an alternative date.
